Job title: Director of Operations
Compensation: Depends on Experience
Position Title: Ka Lima O Maui Director of Operations
Position Classification: Exempt Staff. Salary Range DOE. 2 weeks vacation, 2 weeks sick, 17 paid Holidays per year. 100% medical, dental benefits. 401K.
Working Hours: Monday- Friday. Flexible
Description: This position is responsible for the management of all janitorial and ,grounds maintenance services as well as the promotion and recruitment of new work for the department.
Principal Duties:
A. Responsible for supervising the janitorial and grounds supervisors
B. Responsible for scheduling of the various contracts including periodic work such as pressure washing, buffing, waxing etc.
C. Oversee digital timesheets and submit for payroll on time
D. Oversee purchasing of supplies, equipment, and vehicles
E. Responsible for monitoring the maintenance of the equipment and vehicles
F. Responsible for the recruiting of the janitorial and grounds department staff
G. Work closely with the Job Program Coordinator on transfers and incoming new clients
H. Administer annual evaluations on direct supervisors
I. Oversee accurate and updated records on clients
J. Maintain an inventory list of equipment and vehicles
K. Solicit new grounds and custodial contracts by promoting the agency’s services
L. Prepare bids and estimates with the help of supervisors and Director
M. Responsible for building, office maintenance and coordination of repairs
N. Other duties as required by the Executive Director or designated staff
O. Participate and support agency’s activities and work required to meet agency’s goals and objectives
P. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulation
