100 Holes of Golf – one of Maui’s most successful fundraisers & most unknown ultra-distance sporting events here- took place at the Wailea Blue Golf course on May 25. It has been played 37 times and has raised over a million dollars for Ka Lima O Maui. On Saturday, 15 determined and generous guys played golf from 5 am to after 6 pm to help Ka Lima O Maui, one of Maui’s oldest non-profits. Led by Larry Stubblefield, there is no shortage of heroes in this group who play to help people with disabilities that live and work here. Ka Lima O Maui is the largest employer of people with disabilities in Maui County and is the beneficiary of this amazing fundraising event.
A heartfelt MAHALO NUI LOA goes to the dedicated golfers and all the sponsors, including Wailea Golf, Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui, Grand Wailea –A Waldorf Astoria Resort, Wailea Beach Resort- Marriott, Maui, Manoli’s Pizza Company, Nick’s Fishmarket Maui, Tri-Star Restaurant Group, and Aaron Placourakis. Finally, we extend a special “Thank You” to Larry Stubblefield for making this event No Ka Oi.
