We are a community-based vocational rehabilitation program providing job training and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.

We are one of Maui’s longest-running nonprofit organizations and the largest employer of individuals with disabilities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide our clients with the training, employment, and support they need to be successful in the workplace. This goal is achieved through real work opportunities. The County of Maui departments of Parks and Recreation, Fire, Police, and Public Works accounts for many of our largest grounds and custodial projects.

Ka Lima O Maui also provides job training, coaching, and placement services for clients seeking employment in private businesses.

For adults with developmental disabilities, Ka Lima operates a successful Medicaid Waiver Program. This non-vocational day program focuses on health and personal assistance.

Participants learn basic living skills through domestic lessons, cultural activities, crafts, and social outings.
