Ka Lima O Maui has been putting paychecks in deserving hands since 1955. By helping adults with disabilities find meaningful employment, we lend a hand in building self-esteem and becoming contributing members of our community.
With over 55 persons with disabilities working on our grounds and custodial service crews, Ka Lima O Maui is Maui's largest employer of persons with disabilities.

The original Ka Lima O Maui facility was a converted two-story house in a coconut grove on the shoreline at Kahului Harbor, where Hoaloha Park and the Hawaiian Canoe Club hale are now located. Its first director was Katherine Feddes.

Josie is a recent graduate from Baldwin High School who completed our jobs skills class at the end of the last school year. With Ka Lima O Maui's assistance, Josie has started her career at Target!!! Woo hoo!!! She will be working primarily in the dressing room! If you stop in to try on some clothes at Target, tell Josie"Hi"! Please continue to support our community partners!
Joanna was hired at Gate Gourmet working full time in the cold food prep. She loves it! Next time you are traveling you may have Joanna to thank for your good airline food!
Abby completed our VWATS class & had a dream of working at Flatbread Pizza as a hostess! Well... dreams do come true! Abby is working at Flatbread Pizza during the lunch hour, make sure to say "Hi" if you are in having lunch! Way to go Abby!
Marty is working at his dream job! He is employed with Aloha Contract Services, cleaning the inside of airplanes in between flights!
Ray is proudly working at Fleetwood's on Front St. He is a back of house kitchen helper. He preps the shellfish, oysters, clams, mussels and prawns and helps out where needed. Way to go Ray!
Nick is a courtesy clerk at the Maui Lani Foodland! And he is full of Courtesy!
Noelle working at TJ Maxx as a jingle ambassador/greeter! She is doing great!
Kai Williams completed his internship at Pukalani Superette. Since he lives upcountry, we partnered with Pukalani Foodland, where Kai is now employed as a courtesy clerk and is doing great!
Jaymee applied for work at Regal Cinema in Lahaina and is now the friendly face you see when you go to the movies!
Jenny Tam Ho started working on our Central janitorial crews!
Upon completion of her VWATS internship at TJMaxx, Jalsa was offered employment with them!
Macaia Lee completed an internship at Kahi Kamalii as a teacher's aide. She loved working with the children. Upon completion she came on board with Ka Lima o Maui on our janitorial crew.
Cody had his internship at Hot Topic after completing his VWATS class. Upon completion of his internship, he was offered employment with them!
Stacey Roberts works at Home Depot, watering plants on Saturday and Sunday!
Owen works early hours during the week at Home Depot watering the plants and keeping them healthy!
