Ka Lima is a beneficiary of the SBS Championships held at Kapalua Plantation Course every January. This is the beginning of the PGA Tour and draws the top PGA golfers to Maui. Ka Lima's staff volunteer their time in support of this week long event by parking cars in the VIP parking lot, providing clean-up crews and promoting the event..
The Annual Vistor Industry Charity Walk held in May always finds Ka Lima at the top or very near the top in the most pledges collected by a Not-For-Profit organization due to the fundraising efforts of our clients and staff. As a result Ka Lima receives a generous contribution back from the Hawaii Hotel Association.
Also in May Ka Lima holds their Celebrity 100 Holes of Golf fundraising tournament at the Wailea Old Blue Course. This event features some of Hawaii's best golfers who raise pledges to play 100 holes of golf from sunrise to sunset. Most participants come from Oahu.
Ka Lima holds its Annual Golf Tournament for Maui participants at Kahili Golf Course. Golfers enjoy a great day of golf followed by lunch and awards ceremony with great prizes. The next date for this event is Saturday, February 27, 2009.
